Canon LP-EL Battery

The LP-EL is a high-capacity lithium-ion battery specifically engineered to meet the demanding power requirements of the Speedlite EL-1. It delivers the high-current output necessary for ultra-fast recycle times (approx. 0.9 seconds) and sustained rapid-fire burst shooting, ensuring you never miss a critical moment.

For added convenience, the LP-EL is compatible with the standard LC-E6 / LC-E6E charger used by many EOS cameras. It also features smart internal circuitry that communicates directly with the flash to provide a precise real-time readout of remaining power. On a full charge, you can expect hundreds of full-power flashes, with the unit maintaining its performance for a service life of approximately 300 charge cycles.
