The Canon EOS R5 can capture JPEG, HEIF or Raw files and dual card slots let you save different files to different locations. One slot accepts lightning-fast CFexpress cards – we recommend CFexpress 1.0 (400 MB/sec or higher) for optimum video performance – while the other supports SD cards up to V90 UHS-II speeds.
The EOS R5 uses 5 GHz Wi-Fi to upload images directly to the cloud via image.canon and to link with smart devices for file sharing and remote camera control – great for travel photography and photojournalism. Always-on Bluetooth®⁴ makes it easy to get connected.
